PRODUCTION MACHINIST, FIRST SHIFTS

We currently have several full-time Production Machinist opportunities to join our dynamic group in various departments on the first shift.

Production machinists use machinery to create and assemble machined pin connectors used in the electronics industry. Production machinists are generally assigned to one or more machines and expected to meet a quota production. They must always monitor their machines to ensure that they are working correctly; when they are not, troubleshooting may be necessary. Reading blueprints and shop drawings is an essential part of the position and basic arithmetic skills are necessary in order to properly measure items needed in production. Much of the work is done independently, so it is important to be self-driven. Attention to detail is also important, as the goods produced must be assessed for quality. If goods are not coming out as they should, the machinist should evaluate the situation to determine what is wrong.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Operate production machines
  • Troubleshoot and make small adjustments on production machines
  • Count and record daily production
Job Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • English fluency required
