PROCESS/CHEMICAL ENGINEER

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Process/Chemical Engineer in the Plating Department of our facility located in Oyster Bay, NY.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Ensures parts are plated at optimum quality.
  • Ensures plating baths are maintained at recommended parameters and analyzed at proper frequency.
  • Oversees and/or operates the wastewater treatment system.
  • Responsible for overseeing the operation and calibration of test equipment.

PLANT MAINTENANCE

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assists in maintenance of HVAC rooftop units and refrigeration appliances.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Designs and develops electrical systems using programmable logic controllers PLCs or embedded microcontrollers alternatively implements PC based process control.
  • Places emphasis on the design of control hardware and software for new and existing manufacturing equipment.
  • Generates procedures and documents; maintains electrical systems and its firmware.
  • Will be involved with custom designed equipment, the identification of process concepts, the creation of models and simulations, functional analysis, design systems & subsystems, and the development of schematics and software diagrams.
  • Plans and tracks electrical engineering projects, working with other engineering disciplines, and transitioning prototype designs to manufacturing.
