HR AND BENEFITS ADMINISTRATOR
We currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Human Resources and Benefits Administrator at our facility located in Oyster Bay, NY.
Job Responsibilities:
Administers benefits including processing enrollments/terminations/changes; reviewing, processing, and resolving claims; assisting with open enrollment and annual renewals; and reviewing invoices for accuracy.
Manages leaves of absence from employee request to return-to-work through coordination with carrier, HR Manager, and other departments.
Assists with handling accident, disability, Workers’ Compensation, and unemployment claims/reporting.
Assists with recruiting and interviewing job applicants, including checking references.
Maintains accurate records regarding attendance and punctuality and generates reports to managers as required.
Processes new hires and separations; maintains electronic and paper files.

Metal Finishing Technicians use machinery or manual means to clean, de-grease, and remove chips or burrs created by the stamping/cutting/punching process from manufactured parts. This then allows for the uniform application of a finishing material such as precious metals like gold and silver. Metal Finishing Technicians should be independent self-starters who work well in a fast-paced environment, are comfortable using tools and machinery, have great attention to detail, and are able to read sketches and blueprints. They must execute quality work under strict deadlines, have good manual dexterity, be able to adapt to process changes, and perform some troubleshooting and quality control. This is a great entry-level position with many opportunities for transfer/advancement into related manufacturing departments once the initial skills are mastered.

Mill-Max Mfg. Corp., in Oyster Bay, NY, is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of electronic interconnect components. We currently have several full-time Production Machinist opportunities to join our dynamic group in various departments on the second and third shift.
Production Machinists use machinery to create and assemble machined pin connectors used in the electronics industry. Production Machinists are generally assigned to one or more machines and expected to meet a production quota. They must always monitor their machines to ensure that they are working properly; when they are not, troubleshooting may be necessary. Reading blueprints and shop drawings is an essential part of the position and basic arithmetic skills are necessary in order to properly measure items needed in production. Much of the work is done independently so it is important to be self-driven. Attention to detail is also important, as the goods produced must be assessed for quality. If goods are not coming out as they should, the machinist should evaluate the situation to determine what is wrong.

Perform visual inspections in accordance with department procedure.
Perform dimensional inspections in accordance with part print.

Quarantine any substandard or non-conforming parts.
Screen defective parts including dimensional and visual defects.
Perform first article sample inspections or set-up inspections.
Exercise judgment to react to quality control issues.

QC inspection experience is a plus
Must have an aptitude for simple measurement tools and some basic understanding of manufacturing processes.

APPRENTICESHIP (MACHINIST/TOOL MAKER, TOOL AND DIE MAKER, CNC PROGRAMMER)
We are currently seeking applicants for our new apprenticeship program located in Oyster Bay, NY. This 18-month program offers hands-on paid training for candidates to gain the skills necessary to operate and repair manufacturing equipment. If you are a high school graduate who is mechanically inclined and seeking steady work with advancement opportunities in the future, this may be the position for you.
Job Responsibilities:
Apprentices will learn how to operate Tool Room machinery, use various measuring instruments, and perform mechanical repairs on production equipment.
Job duties will increase dependent upon successful completion of periodic performance evaluations, and four different career paths are then available after 18 months in the program based upon company needs.
