SOFTWARE ENGINEER

We are offering a great opportunity for a Software Engineer to join our Software Engineering group in Oyster Bay, NY.  The primary function of the Software Engineer will be to design and develop, new and existing applications.  A high-level of attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines are necessary.

Job Requirements:
  • Reviews, analyzes and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs.
  • Design and write code to support existing applications
  • Consult with users to create specifications and develop code for new applications
Qualifications:
  • B.S. Degree in Computer Science preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience using Pro C and Oracle
  • A strong, structured programming background, system analysis and knowledge of the complete software development process.
  • The ability to develop application specifications for complex projects thru discussion with end users.
  • Knowledge of Inventory, Accounting and Sales Order systems

ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT

We are searching for a motivated Accounting Assistant who is an excellent multi-tasker with exceptional communication and time management skills. Accounting Assistant will assist the Accounting Department with data entry, process and record transactions, update the ledger, assist with audits and prepare reports. You should be thorough, accurate, and honest with good bookkeeping skills.

To be a successful Accounting Assistant, you should have a basic understanding of accounting principles and proficiency with computers and software, such as MS Excel. You should be trustworthy, efficient, and organized.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic office tasks such as filing, data entry, answering phones, processing the mail, etc.
  • Handling communications with customers and vendors via phone, email and in-person
  • Processing transactions, issuing checks, and updating ledgers, PTO requests, etc.
  • Assist with audits, fact checks, and resolving discrepancies

We are currently seeking a Tool and Die Maker to work in our Stamping and Injection Molding Departments.  If you have experience in progressive dies or injection molds and the desire to become an integral part of our team, this career opportunity may be for you.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Analyzes and interprets specifications, blue prints to make new or maintain existing tooling to ensure quality and productivity
  • Assemble progressive dies and injection molds
  • Will be trained to set up and operate production equipment
Requirements:
  • Skilled in the use of Tool Room equipment and can work to close tolerances .0001” on surface and cylindrical grinding machines
  • Must have general knowledge of tool and die design including various steels/carbides and their application
  • Must have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

We have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic Customer Service Representative.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provides outstanding support to both external and internal customers, potential new customers and outside sales representatives
  • Provides professional and quick responses to customers regarding order placement/changes, pricing/delivery requests, order expedites, and product returns
  • Requires strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and with other departments
  • Coordinate sample, quotation and order follow up through phone and email
  • Provides information to the department manager and others as needed
Requirements:
