| SMT PGA Sockets For Celeron Processors |
Mill-Max has developed a 370 Pin Surface Mount PGA Socket designed for the Intel Celeron microprocessor.
These PGA sockets have integral tabs for mounting a heatsink plus a fan. The sockets are offered in a low profile, only .200" high. The sockets have "floating contacts" which maintain contact with the solder paste and assure coplanarity during the reflow process. Ultra low insertion force contacts permit hand installation of the processor and easy removal with the flat blade of a screwdriver. A large window in the socket permits decoupling capacitors to be placed beneath the processor. A removable vacuum plate is available for automated placement.
